STILLNESS SATURDAY 🦋
You do not have to have a specific promise to have hope in God.
You just have to know His character.
Maybe you are reading this today and the idea of God promising you something feels far away. Maybe life has been hard enough long enough that hope itself feels like a risk you are not sure you can take again.
That is okay. You can be honest about that here.
But can I share something with you today?
Hope is not always about a specific outcome.
Sometimes hope is simply this. Trusting that God is good even when you cannot see it. Believing He is present even when He feels silent. Knowing He sees you even when you feel completely invisible.
You do not have to have it all figured out. You do not have to feel it. You do not have to manufacture something you genuinely do not have right now.
You just have to be still long enough to let God be who He already is.
Not what someone told you He would do. Not a promise that did not come through the way you expected. Just Him. His presence. His character. His love that does not require you to perform or believe perfectly before it shows up.🙌🏾
That is where hope is rebuilt. Not in grand declarations. In quiet moments where God simply reminds you that He is still here and so are you‼️
“The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” Lamentations 3:25-26 (NIV)
He is good. Not just what He does. Who He is. And that never changes.
🤍 Today you do not have to claim anything or declare anything. Just be still. Let God be good to you in the quiet. That is enough for today.
📖 For More Encouragement:
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 (NIV)
“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” Psalm 145:18 (NIV)
“Give thanks to the Lord for he is good. His love endures forever.” Psalm 107:1 (NIV)
