I am honestly looking into becoming a digital nomad and leaving this country, with the vague hope that it will someday be safe to go back to. If you can't leave make a "Victory Garden" and get your neighbors to do that too. Like only one person needs to plant zucchini for 3 households to feel like they have enough zucchini. So y'all plant different things and share. Everyone should take a gun safely class. A small .22 rifle can be handled by a trustworthy 14 year old. ONLY IF you trust them! .22 has very little kick. Handguns should only be for adults. Learn how to use your sights properly. Practice at the range until you can consistently hit the middle. Go to the ACLU website and look up the part about ICE and knowing your rights. Save as many encyclopedias as you can off of the national archives and internet archives. Encyclopedias have a wide range of knowledge and history in them. If you can afford the physical books that's cool. But downloading them off the internet is fine. If you are ready to go camping and fishing, you are ready for most disasters. Having some form of bicycle just in case is good. If your personal balance isn't great look into trikes. I have an electric assisted cargo bike, it has 3 wheels. If you want links too anything just ask.

Highly doubt, our social security will survive it
