A Sneak Peak of My First Month in Oregon
I’ve been here for a month now. I’ve started work, got almost fully unpacked - still missing some furniture but that’ll take a little bit of time, read 2 books, and found a church to attend. There’s probably more that’s happened but with this whole change, it’s been one heck of a month. It’s gone by so slow, yet so fast and I can’t believe it sometimes that a month has already flew by.
There’s still a list that feels like it’s a mile long of places that I want to explore and check out that I feel like I don’t have the amount of time in a day to complete it. I’ll get there though.
I am excited to see what my future brings here in Oregon.

Moving to Oregon has brought a whirlwind of emotions and experiences. In just one month, I've adapted to a new work environment, unpacked my belongings (though I'm still waiting on some furniture), and embraced the local community by attending church. Adjusting to a new life can be both exhilarating and overwhelming, but I've made it a priority to explore my new surroundings. Oregon, known for its stunning landscapes, diverse activities, and rich culture, has so much to offer. Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast ready to hike in the lush forests, a foodie eager to discover farm-to-table dining, or someone who appreciates art and local festivals, there’s always something happening. My own exploration list is extensive, including popular spots like the Oregon Coast and the vibrant art scene in Portland. In addition to natural beauty, Oregon also has a reputation for a welcoming community spirit. Engaging with locals and discovering hidden gems during my free time has been a highlight of this month. I can't wait to share my ongoing journey as I continue to uncover what makes Oregon such a special place. Follow my stories as I document unique finds, local tips and my personal reflections during this exciting transition in my life.

Welcome to Oregon! I was born and raised here. There are so many great things to do. Once you get used to the rain, it really isn’t so bad.
