TikTok really just roasted me hard🤣🤣🤣
I recently went through a hilarious moment on TikTok where the platform’s comment style really caught me off guard. The roasting was all in good fun, using percentages like "5%" and "99%" combined with playful words such as "Pretty" and "Ugly". It felt rude at first, but then I realized this kind of humor is pretty common in online spaces where people engage by teasing each other lightheartedly. From this experience, I learned how important it is not to take these digital roasts personally. Social media platforms like TikTok encourage creativity and humor, sometimes in the form of blunt commentary, which can either sting or make us laugh depending on our perspective. Instead of feeling offended by comments like "Jeez TikTok's RUDE," I now look at them as a way to connect with other users’ shared humor. If you ever find yourself 'roasted' by TikTok or any social media, my advice is to embrace the humor, laugh it off, and even join in on the fun if you feel comfortable. These moments can make online interactions more entertaining and remind us that behind every screen is a person just trying to enjoy some lighthearted fun.
