Slow doesn’t mean behind 🤍

A Friday reminder for the woman who's been

rushing through her week 🤍

Slow doesn't mean behind.

It means rooted.

It means trusting His timing.

It means becoming her — slowly, faithfully,

day by day.

If you've been comparing your pace to

everyone else's — pause. Breathe. Trust that

you're exactly where you need to be 🌸

Save this for the days you feel rushed.

What are YOU slowing down for this weekend? 👇

I've personally struggled with comparing my progress to those around me, and it often left me feeling anxious and behind. But learning to slow down has been transformative. Slow doesn’t mean failure or falling behind—it means being deeply rooted in your own path and trusting the process. When we slow down, we give ourselves the space to reflect, recharge, and align with what truly matters. It’s about having faith in your timing, whether that’s in personal growth, career, or relationships. This mindset shift helped me appreciate my small, daily steps as meaningful progress rather than rushing toward a finish line. Moreover, slowing down allows us to embrace vulnerability and authenticity. We stop measuring ourselves against others and start valuing our unique journey, imperfections included. It’s a gentle practice of self-compassion that fosters emotional wellbeing. This weekend, I intentionally decided to slow down by spending time in nature and journaling my thoughts, which helped me reconnect with my purpose and inner peace. What are you slowing down for? Whether it’s to nurture your mental health, spend quality time with loved ones, or pause and breathe, remember that slow is powerful and purposeful.
