My Capacity Is Closed for Renovation
Let’s be very clear.
You cannot do what you cannot do.
That’s not a mindset issue. That’s math.
Being the “go-to” person sounds cute until you’re drowning in everyone else’s deadlines while yours sit untouched. Helping is not holy when it costs you your peace, your focus, and your sleep. At some point, kindness without boundaries turns into unpaid labor.
Here’s the part nobody likes to admit: when you never say no, people stop respecting your capacity.
They don’t check your plate. They just add to it.
And then act shocked when you’re overwhelmed.
Ma’am. Sir. Be serious.
Saying no doesn’t make you difficult. It makes you honest. Clear. Self-aware. You are allowed to protect your time without explaining your entire nervous system.
Learn to say no before resentment says it for you.
