Stop Dating Your Loneliness
Everybody’s looking for a partner like it’s a cure.
A distraction. A reward for surviving.
But if you’re honest, some of that longing isn’t about love at all.
It’s about not wanting to sit with yourself.
Becoming a mate to your own soul means you stop ghosting yourself when things get quiet.
You answer your own needs instead of auditioning for someone else’s attention.
You learn your moods. Your triggers. Your soft spots.
You don’t abandon yourself just because nobody’s texting back.
Here’s the part people skip.
If you don’t know how to comfort yourself, you’ll tolerate anybody who shows up loud.
If you don’t keep your own promises, you’ll overvalue anyone who makes temporary ones.
That’s not romance. That’s survival dressed up in chemistry.
Scripture says, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23
Translation? Tend to your inner world before inviting someone into it.
When your soul feels safe with you,
you stop chasing intensity and start choosing alignment.
You don’t need someone to complete you.
You need someone who can meet you where you already stand whole, grounded, and not begging to be chosen.
Bloom there first.
