Clarity Doesn’t Chase
I used to chase clarity like it was something I had to earn.
Replaying conversations.
Over-explaining myself.
Trying to “fix” misunderstandings that weren’t even mine to carry.
All for what?
Silence. Mixed signals. Half effort.
So I made a decision.
I no longer chase clarity.
Because clarity doesn’t require chasing.
If someone wants to be understood, they communicate.
If someone wants connection, they participate.
If someone values you, it shows without confusion.
Anything else?
That’s inconsistency dressed up as “maybe.”
And baby, we don’t do “maybe” when it comes to our peace.
You are not a detective.
You are not a mind reader.
And you are definitely not responsible for pulling clarity out of someone who refuses to give it.
Stop chasing conversations that should come naturally.
Stop forcing understanding where there is avoidance.
Stop exhausting yourself trying to make it make sense.
Sometimes the lack of clarity…
is the clarity.
And once you accept that?
You move different.
