I am learning that some of the hardest moments in life are not the moments themselves, but the anticipation of them. The waiting. The wondering. The imagining of every possible outcome before I even take the first step.
Sometimes I find myself trying to carry tomorrow's burdens while still standing in today.
But God continually reminds me that I do not walk into unfamiliar territory alone. Wherever I am headed, He is already there. Before I step into the meeting, before I make the phone call, before I receive the diagnosis, before I hear the answer, His presence has already gone before me.
I may not know how everything will unfold, but I know Who will be with me when it does.
Today, I am choosing to release the pressure of having everything figured out. I do not need to control the outcome to trust God with the journey.
I can walk forward with confidence, not because I have all the answers, but because I know I am not walking alone.
This is my reminder: God is already in the place I am worried about reaching.

I often found myself overwhelmed not by the challenges themselves but by the anticipation—the mental replay of worst-case scenarios that drained my energy before I even took action. What helped me most was embracing the idea that I am not alone in these moments; that somehow, a presence greater than myself was already there, preparing the way ahead.
This mindset shift, rooted in faith, brings profound comfort. Instead of carrying the heavy weight of tomorrow’s burdens today, I learned to focus on the present and trust that I would be supported when the time to act came. It’s like knowing someone has already walked the path ahead, offering unseen guidance and protection.
I remember facing a particularly stressful event where uncertainty loomed large. The fear of the unknown almost paralyzed me. But recalling that God’s presence had gone before me helped dissolve much of that fear. I realized I didn’t need to control every outcome or have all the answers right away. That release of control didn’t mean passivity—it meant active trust and courage to move forward step by step.
For anyone struggling with anxiety about future challenges, this perspective can be empowering. It’s not about ignoring reality or denying emotions but about embracing faith as a source of strength. When I remind myself that God is already in the place I worry about reaching, it fuels my confidence to face life’s uncertainties with less dread and more hope.
In practical terms, this means giving yourself permission to pause, breathe, and acknowledge your feelings while also choosing to believe that you are not walking into anything alone. Whether you’re preparing for a difficult conversation, awaiting news, or navigating change, know that there is unseen support walking ahead of you. This realization has transformed many moments of fear into opportunities for growth and peace.
