SAHM bullet journal

Finally making the stuff I want to see online for a stay at home mom who loves bullet journaling.

I started bullet journaling about 4 years ago before my first born and fell in love with the idea of making a planner my own way and that fit my lifestyle. I was working full time and it kept my life organized better than any other system.

After having kids I never had the time for it anymore but now I’m making the time and falling in love with it all over again.

Bullet journaling offers a flexible and creative solution to manage the many responsibilities that come with running a household and caring for children. Unlike traditional planners, bullet journals allow you to customize your planning system to suit your unique needs, priorities, and lifestyle. One popular approach is to prioritize your daily to-do list by highlighting the TOP3 tasks each day—this helps focus your efforts on the most important goals amid a busy schedule. For example, common tasks such as laundry, shower routines, meal prep, and household cleaning can be planned out with clear reminders to stay on track. The motivational prompts found in bullet journaling, like "STOP THE SELF DOUBT" or "CAN DO IT," support mental wellness and encourage perseverance through sometimes overwhelming days. Including exercise goals (e.g., pushups or workout sessions) within your bullet journal not only promotes physical health but also fosters a holistic sense of well-being. Tracking progress on daily chores such as vacuuming under furniture or finishing work tasks can provide a satisfying sense of accomplishment. By adapting the bullet journal pages with your own categories—like reminders, meal plans, fitness goals, and even self-care activities—you can ensure you spend time on what truly matters each day. Many stay-at-home moms find that revisiting bullet journaling after a break brings renewed creativity and structure. It’s a highly engaging way to combine productivity with mindfulness. Moreover, sharing your bullet journal layouts and experiences with other moms online can create a supportive community, exchanging ideas and encouragement. By embracing bullet journaling as a personalized planner, SAHMs can navigate daily responsibilities with greater clarity and confidence, making each day manageable and fulfilling.
