insulation and roof rack
I finally got the inside framed, wired, and insulated. I'm going to start the flooring in a couple of days. I got the rails for my roof rack. halfway through I've changed my mind about how I wanted the solar layout 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️. Anyway, I'm going to see if my new plan will workout. So far, I can say I hate getting on the roof lol. I love and hate the 8020. it doesn't easily allow for changes. you really need a solid plan before you start. the cross beams and anything with a barricade needs to be preloaded with nuts. once it's all in place you can't load it afterwards. Learning as you go makes for super slow progress but I'm proud of myself and really looking forward to finishing this project 😆.
When undertaking a project involving insulation and installing a roof rack, proper planning is crucial. Many beginners face challenges, especially when figuring out how to layout solar panels efficiently on the roof. Before starting, consider the materials you'll need for insulation to enhance energy efficiency. For roof racks, understanding the weight distribution and load capacity is also vital to ensure safety and durability. The 8020 framing system, while versatile, requires thoughtful preparation. You must preload nuts and ensure all components fit correctly, as adjustments can become difficult once installed. Patience is required, as learning during the process often results in slower progress. However, these challenges can lead to greater satisfaction once you witness your project's completion. This journey not only boosts your skills but also creates a space tailored to your needs.
