Chicken Caesar Salad with homemade croutons

I bought rotisserie chicken but you can use any cooked chicken.

For the croutons, chop your bread into small cubes, season with salt and pepper and olive oil, put in toaster oven until crispy.

I didn’t have lemon so I used lime, but lemon is better.

You can make your own caesar dressing or buy one like I did.

Fresh Romaine lettuce adds crunch and nutrition, while rotisserie chicken provides convenience and flavor. If you wish to elevate your salad, consider making your own Caesar dressing using ingredients like grated Parmesan, anchovies, garlic, and lemon juice for a rich taste. For croutons, using day-old bread enhances texture; simply cube the bread and toss it with olive oil, salt, and pepper before baking until crispy. Variations, such as adding grilled shrimp or avocado, can also introduce new flavors. Remember, a squeeze of lemon enhances the overall taste profile and freshness of the salad. Enjoy this delightful dish as a light meal or a side at your next gathering!
