I remember driving in and being a little overwhelmed by the exits, but once you get your bearings, it’s actually quite straightforward. My biggest tip for anyone using I-24 to get to downtown or the Gulch area is to plan your exit ahead of time. Traffic can get a bit heavy, especially during peak hours (think morning and afternoon commutes, generally 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM), so having your GPS ready and even checking real-time traffic apps is a lifesaver. For downtown, look out for exits leading to Broadway, Demonbreun Street, or even merging onto I-65 N briefly for specific downtown access points. On the north side, it can lead you towards Opryland, where you'll find the Grand Ole Opry and the Opry Mills mall.
