Personalized Gift Idea
Story: My SIL is OBSESSED with the Iowa State Fair. so much so, that she got married at the fair grounds. There's a tradition at the fair to have a cow sculpted out of butter. So I thought for her bridal shower I'd make her something that she could have that incorporated her wedding colors and was based around the Iowa State Fair.
How I made it:
-Purchased cheese board (from target)
-Painted the handle black and the rest white.
-I added a bow in the same shade of blue as their wedding colors and added a gold accent. I also ran the gold ribbon accent along the top of the board where the black and white paint were divided.
-Added pretty gem accents
-Cricuit cut a yellow butter cow and "I found my butter half."
You could do the same for anyone but incorporate their interests; sports, TV show, movies, vacation spots etc. and a punny line around it.
