SPA DAY at World Spa 📍Brooklyn

I recently visited the World Spa located in Brooklyn, NY and this was one of the most relaxing spas I have ever visited. I completely forgot I was in NY.

They have multiple saunas, whirlpools, and cold plunges, and they’re all designed with inspiration from multiple countries all over the world.

My favorite room was the Turkish Hammam Sauna, which was over 90°F and had aromas of eucalyptus. I also really enjoyed the Himalayan Salt Room (with the long lounge chairs in slide 3).

You must make an online reservation for a day pass and the best time to go in as soon as they open on weekdays. (I visited at 10AM on a Thursday and it was empty😊).

If you’re ever in Brooklyn, you should definitely check it out!

... Read moreI'm still dreaming about my recent escape to World Spa in Brooklyn – it truly felt like stepping into another world, completely forgetting the city hustle outside. If you're looking for a top-tier 'spa day in Brooklyn NY' or wondering what a 'world spa nyc wellness day experience' is really like, let me spill the details! First off, the sheer variety of experiences here is what makes it so special. You're not just getting one or two saunas; it's a global journey for your senses. My absolute favorite was the Turkish Hammam Sauna. The moment you step in, the warm, humid air infused with eucalyptus just melts away any stress. It's over 90°F, perfect for a deep detox, and the design makes you feel like you're actually in a traditional Turkish bath. It's a must-try for anyone curious about a 'world spa brooklyn hammam' experience. Then there's the unique Himalayan Salt Room. Picture this: lounging on comfortable chairs, surrounded by illuminated salt blocks, just breathing in the mineral-rich air. It's incredibly soothing and supposed to be great for respiratory health. I could have spent hours there! Beyond these, they have multiple other saunas with different themes and temperatures, each offering a distinct vibe. And let's not forget the water elements! The whirlpools are fantastic for easing muscle tension, and after a good sauna session, nothing beats the invigorating shock of a cold plunge. What struck me about their 'cold plunges' was the incredible detail in the decor – one even had a beautiful backdrop of a Japanese pagoda, cherry blossoms, and Mount Fuji at sunset. It truly elevates the experience from just a simple plunge to a visual delight. For anyone planning their visit, I highly recommend making an 'online reservation' for a day pass, especially if you want to experience it at its most serene. Going right when they open on a weekday, like I did at 10 AM on a Thursday, meant I practically had the place to myself for a while. It’s the perfect way to truly immerse yourself without the crowds. To make it a full 'wellness day experience,' don't overlook their amenities beyond the thermal areas. The fact that they have a 'restaurant WITH WINE CELLAR' means you don't even have to leave for lunch or dinner. You can seamlessly transition from relaxation to a delicious meal, allowing you to sustain that blissful state throughout your visit. It adds another layer of luxury, making it feel less like a quick spa trip and more like a holistic retreat. Whether you're seeking deep relaxation, a unique international thermal journey, or just a beautiful place to unwind, World Spa Brooklyn truly delivers on its promise of a luxurious and memorable 'spa day'.
