Things to do in Geneva, Switzerland 🇨🇭
I went to Geneva last winter and here are some of the highlights from my two-day stop:
🍫Chocolate Tour: You can take a chocolate tour around the city, where each store on the map will give you samples of their chocolates. Most places are closed on Sundays, so keep this in mind when planning.
🚊Free Metro: The metro/public transportation pass is free when you book your stay at a hotel. I think this is a huge benefit to staying at a hotel over Airbnbs. Your pass will be emailed to you and you can use it to easily get around the city.
🎡Ferris Wheel & Shops: The infamous Ferris Wheel is the center of the waterfront and is a popular tourist picture spot. There are local shops at the waterfront where you can buy souvenirs and also designer stores to browse.
🏡The Old Town: This area of the city is really cute and gives traditional Europe vibes. I stopped at a cafe and had some tea to people watch. I would definitely recommend you walk through the town yourself.
