How I Went to Japan for FREE

I visited Japan for a full week in January and it was such an amazing trip! I was awarded this trip because I won a travel scholarship through AYFN Academy, and during the week we visited Osaka, Kyoto and Nara. Here is a sneak peak of what you should know about the program:

✈️ You must be at least 18 yrs old and have a passport to apply. You don’t have to be a student or work in any specific industry.

🌎 I won a full scholarship, so my airfare, hotel, food, and tours with the group were included. We had free time in the evenings so I had the option to do what I wanted.

📍AFYN hosts scholarship trips 4 times a year and to several locations including Japan, South Korea, and Bali. Apply on their website for the next scholarship.

📸You can watch my trip vlogs on Youtube to see how it went.

To learn about how to craft your application for this program and other travel scholarships, download my ebook, which I’ve linked in the comments!

The AYFN Academy provides quarterly opportunities to explore mesmerizing destinations like Japan, South Korea, and Bali. To qualify, applicants must be at least 18 years old with a valid passport, and there are no specific education or professional requirements. The scholarship encompasses essential expenses including airfare, accommodation, meals, and guided tours, giving travelers a broad overview of each location. After engaging in group activities, participants often enjoy their evenings to explore independently, making the experience personal and enriching. For those seeking to maximize their chances of securing travel funding, it’s advisable to craft a compelling application. Consider highlighting your passion for travel, willingness to engage with diverse cultures, and how the experience will benefit your personal growth. Additionally, creating an eBook or blog documenting your preparations can showcase your commitment and creativity. Engaging video content, like travel vlogs, can also make your application stand out, offering potential sponsors a narrative of your journey. If you're eager to learn more about travel scholarships and their potential to transform your adventures, remember to check official scholarship sites and community forums regularly. There are vast resources available online that can inform you about upcoming opportunities and application tips. In summary, travel scholarships not only provide financial relief but open doors to unique global experiences, enabling you to discover and share stories from around the world. Take the leap and explore your travel potential!
