My Grown Gourmand SOTD 🤎 | Pistachio, Fig, Vanilla & Amber

Today’s scent combination is for the cool girls who love a gourmand but still want to smell polished. 🤎✨

I layered three fragrances:

Victoria’s Secret Glaze à La Mode

Top: pistachio gelato and honeyed pear

Heart: sugared petals and juicy berries

Base: glazed woods and coconut milk

Brown Sugar Babe Perfection

Top: fig and caramel

Heart: jasmine

Base: amber

Perfection is a dupe for Marc Jacobs Perfect Absolute, so it adds that rich caramelized-fig, jasmine, and amber profile without making the combination feel too heavy.

NOYZ Only Human Mylk de Parfum

Top: pink pepper and Italian bergamot

Heart: waterlily and bamboo

Base: vanilla bean, ambroxan, and cedarwood

Together, they create a creamy blend of pistachio, honeyed fruit, caramelized fig, soft florals, warm amber, vanilla skin musk, and smooth woods.

It’s gourmand, but not childish. Sweet, but not syrupy. Basically, she smells delicious and knows exactly what she’s doing. 😂

Would you wear this trio?

I've found that combining gourmand notes like pistachio, fig, vanilla, and amber can strike a perfect balance between sweet and sophisticated — ideal for those who love rich scents but want to avoid anything overly sugary or juvenile. The pistachio and honeyed pear in Victoria’s Secret Glaze à La Mode add a creamy and light nutty sweetness, which is wonderfully complemented by the caramel and fig of Brown Sugar Babe Perfection. Interestingly, Perfection is a fantastic dupe for Marc Jacobs Perfect Absolute, bringing in a lush but not overpowering depth with its jasmine and amber heart and base notes. Adding the NOYZ Only Human Mylk de Parfum introduces a fresh and slightly spicy twist with pink pepper and Italian bergamot upfront. The heart of waterlily and bamboo keeps the blend airy and natural, while the warm vanilla bean, ambroxan, and cedarwood base rounds everything out with a sensual skin musk effect. In my experience, this layered combination smells polished and grown-up, perfect for daytime wear when you want to feel both cozy and chic. It’s also versatile enough to transition into evening occasions. Plus, crafting your scent like this allows you to enjoy the nuances of each fragrance while creating something truly unique. If you’re new to fragrance layering, my tip is to start with complementary notes and test in small amounts. Pistachio and fig create a creamy, fruity base that blends beautifully with vanilla and amber’s warmth. This kind of gourmand layering steers clear of being too sugary or cloying, making it suitable for those who want a modern and elegant scent profile. Would you try this creamy pistachio and caramelized fig scent combo? It’s a delicious way to wear gourmand notes with confidence and polish.
