Day 15
Hoy no fue caminar… pero también me movÃ.
Estoy aprendiendo que avanzar no siempre se ve igual. 💛
In my personal journey towards better health and well-being, I've come to realize that progress doesn't always look the same every day. While some days I feel energized enough for a walk in the park, there are other days where simply taking care of the household—washing dishes, sweeping, or tidying up—becomes my way of moving forward. These moments may seem small, but they truly add up. I also used to struggle with feelings of guilt on days when physical activity was limited. Sharing my progress online made me feel accountable to others, almost like I owed everyone consistency. But I've learned that honoring the body's need for rest is just as important as pushing forward. Rest doesn't mean failure; it means listening to your body and allowing recovery. Sometimes, survival is the goal—managing everyday tasks step by step without giving up. This perspective shift has helped me appreciate all forms of movement, even those that happen while seated or are less intense. It’s about maintaining momentum in whatever way possible. If you're on a similar path, remember that progress isn’t linear. Celebrate every bit of effort, recognize that rest is part of the process, and know that moving forward doesn't always require grand actions. Sometimes, the quiet acts of self-care are what truly keep us going.
