Exalt Jesus More Than Trump Does His Own Self
Calling on believers in Christ to exalt Jesus more than Donald Trump exalts his own self
In my personal journey as a believer, I have found that truly exalting Jesus requires intentionally shifting focus away from worldly figures and self-centered attitudes. Many public personalities like Donald Trump often receive attention for elevating themselves, but as Christians, we are called to follow a different example. Exalting Jesus means putting Him first in every aspect of our lives, not just verbally but through actions that reflect His love and humility. It’s easy to get distracted by prominent leaders and their agendas, but ultimately, our faith calls us to revere Jesus alone. One practical way I have incorporated this teaching is by starting each day with prayer and Scripture centered on Jesus’ attributes rather than worldly success or politics. This helps me keep a humble heart and remember that all glory belongs to Christ. Additionally, engaging in community worship and discussions focused on Jesus’ life and sacrifice provides encouragement and accountability in lifting Him up rather than ourselves. I’ve noticed that when we collectively exalt Jesus, it strengthens our spiritual walk and cultivates a spirit of unity. Remember, exalting Jesus is not about diminishing others but about elevating the one who deserves all praise. When we do this, our lives become testimonies of true faith and hope, guiding others toward Christ rather than personalities or ideology.
