Please Read Description. New to this and really need help as I’m having back sur

Hey guys I am Bobbie, a 32 year old mother to 3. As of the last 4 months almost 5 now I have been suffering from a bad back injury and have been unable to work, my doctors have declared me temporarily disabled as they wait to see if back surgery will fix my back and get rid of my excruciating, paralyzing pain. My husband has had to take off work and be my full time caregiver as mobility for me is limited. I’m waiting for the surgeons office to call next week with an appointment for my surgery which requires a 6 week recovery, after that surgery and recovery I also have to have to see a breast cancer specialist and have a lumpectomy surgery to remove the 2 large masses in my left breast(which also scares me because my grandmother lost the same one due to breast cancer). I’m just really scared and have used all our funds and sold all we own of any value including my wedding set and one of a kind guitars to cover the bills but as of the beginning of August we are behind. We are just trying to get through the next couple months until after my back surgery and recovery so my husband can return to his full time job and so I can be a full time teacher which is my dream job. If it wasn’t for my kids I would not even reach out for help but we are at risk of losing everything and will have 2 bills disconnected Monday at 4central time. We have created a GoFundMe if anyone would like to donate no matter how small the amount it helps more than you know and if you are unable to donate please just share the link and please pray for us and our babies. Having your independence taken away is a mental battle and will humble you quickly and it did me. Please any help and prayers are greatly appreciated and if you have any experience with back surgery in the lumbar region please let me know I’m scared to death and so are my babies. Thank you and hope everyone has a blessed weekend. https://gofund.me/6494adcc5 #backsurgery #breastcancerawareness#sendhelp #familylife

... Read moreDealing with a severe back injury that requires surgery can be one of the most challenging experiences both physically and emotionally. From my own experience, I know that the anticipation before lumbar surgery can trigger anxiety about the procedure itself and the recovery process. It's important to gather as much information as possible about what the surgery entails, expected recovery milestones, and pain management strategies. Many patients find it helpful to connect with others who have undergone lumbar back surgery through support groups or online forums, which can provide valuable insights and emotional encouragement. Recovery often involves significant adjustments at home, such as limiting movement and relying on caregivers, which can be taxing on both the patient and family members. Planning ahead for this period by organizing home care assistance and arranging for help with daily tasks can alleviate some stress. I also recommend discussing pain management options thoroughly with healthcare providers to find the safest and most effective approaches. Additionally, facing a breast cancer diagnosis or suspected masses simultaneously adds another layer of emotional burden. Early consultation with specialists and exploring treatment options, including lumpectomy surgery, can empower patients with a clearer understanding of their medical pathway. Financial strain is a common and distressing part of managing multiple health issues. Crowdfunding platforms can be a useful avenue for raising support, as demonstrated in this story. Beyond financial help, sharing your story can raise awareness and might inspire others to support or offer help. Throughout this journey, self-care and mental health are crucial. Practicing mindfulness, maintaining a connection with loved ones, and seeking professional mental health support when needed can help manage the emotional toll. Remember, you are not alone, and many have walked this difficult path, eventually finding hope and healing. If you or someone you know is preparing for lumbar back surgery or facing concurrent cancer treatments, reaching out to communities and medical professionals for support is vital to navigating these hardships.
