Guys accounting has got me so stressed i dont understand accounting... some background abt me i was from poly oral health and now im in nus biz ad and im literally clueless about accounting help me....
Transitioning from a polytechnic program like oral health to a business administration course at NUS has been quite a challenge, especially when it comes to accounting. I never expected to feel so overwhelmed, but honestly, accounting concepts felt like a different language at first. One thing that helped me was breaking down the material into small, manageable parts instead of trying to learn everything at once. For example, I focused on understanding the basics of financial statements before moving on to more complex topics. I also formed a study group with fellow classmates, which made a big difference because we could ask questions and explain things to each other in everyday terms. Additionally, incorporating my daily routine—like scheduling short review sessions after meals, inspired by my little breaks for coffee or snacks—made studying less stressful. Using real-world examples like managing a budget or tracking expenses helped me relate better to the numbers. The OCR from my daily meal notes reminds me how simple routines can support study habits: whether it's enjoying a cheeseburger dinner or grabbing a chocolate bread snack, taking mindful breaks is key. If accounting feels tough, don’t hesitate to seek help from tutors or online forums, and remember that patience and consistent practice are your best allies. You're definitely not alone in this journey!
