... Read moreYou know that feeling when you walk into Dollar Tree and find exactly what you didn't know you needed? That was totally me today! My recent haul wasn't just about grabbing a few things; it was about finding practical, everyday essentials that make life a little easier without breaking the bank. I'm so excited to share what I picked up and, more importantly, how these amazing finds serve a real purpose in my daily routine.
First up, let's talk about the makeup brushes from MB Must-Have Beauty. I snagged a package with two pink glitter eyeshadow brushes and another with two clear makeup brushes with gold geometric accents. What are these brushes good for? I love using the smaller, more precise ones for detailed eye makeup – like blending out eyeshadow in the crease or applying shimmer to my inner corner for a brightening effect. They're surprisingly soft for the price and really help blend everything smoothly. I also grabbed a large pink glitter powder brush, which is fantastic for setting my whole face with loose powder, giving a flawless finish without caking. And the large black powder brush? Perfect for a quick contour or bronzer application, or just dusting off any excess powder. They're surprisingly sturdy and haven't shed, which is a huge win for Dollar Tree finds!
Then there's the Sassy + Chic makeup sponge with a case – total game-changer for me. What's it good for? I always dampen it before use to apply my liquid foundation or concealer. It gives such a natural, streak-free finish, and the pointed tip is amazing for getting into tricky areas like around the nose and under the eyes. Plus, the little coffee cup-shaped case is adorable and super practical, keeping it clean in my makeup bag when I'm on the go. No more digging for a dirty sponge!
My lips definitely needed some love, so I was thrilled to find the L.A. Colors Shea Butter Lip Balms. I picked up Sheer Peach and Sheer Nude, and already had my eye on Sheer Black Cherry – these are amazing for hydrating dry lips. They give just a hint of color, perfect for a no-makeup makeup look or under a lip gloss for extra shine and moisture thanks to the shea butter. And speaking of gloss, the L.A. Colors Moisturizing Lip Gloss in the shade Bliss is a beautiful, non-sticky formula enriched with Vitamin E. It’s what I reach for when I want a plump, glossy look without feeling heavy or sticky. It's great for adding a polished touch to any look.
Last but not least, you can never have enough hand sanitizer, especially these days! I grabbed two more b.pure moisturizing hand sanitizers – one hibiscus scented (pink) and one coconut lime scented (green). What are they good for? Obviously, keeping hands clean on the go, but these specifically don't dry out my skin like some others can. The moisturizing aspect is key! The scents are also really lovely and uplifting, making a quick sanitize feel like a mini self-care moment rather than a chore. I keep one in my purse, one in my car, and one on my desk – super convenient for anytime I need a quick refresh.
So there you have it! My Dollar Tree finds aren't just cheap; they're genuinely useful additions to my beauty and hygiene routine. It just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune to get quality products that serve a real purpose. Happy hunting on your next Dollar Tree trip!
