I wouldn’t have believed one year ago that I could make my own designer furniture!!! The inspo cost $700, but this IKEA bench was just $80 🧚

Steps:

1. Grab the Perjohan bench from IKEA!

2. Laser engrave or use a jigsaw to cut out any design you want.

3. Use cardboard to make a template for extra fanciness.

4. Trace the template on a 1x4 of pine. Make sure to use only half of a template, and flip it over to make sure the design is the same on both sides.

5. Cut it out with a jigsaw.

6. For extra fanciness, use a Chamfer router bit to clean up the edge (I didn’t record this part).

7. Stain with whatever color you want!

8. Put the bench together and enjoy 🧚‍♂️
