Book Review 🍋
I finally got around to writing my honest review of The Perfect Marriage. To be real, the book could’ve been way better. It felt rushed, like the plot was pushed out without fully developing the characters or pacing the suspense. By chapter 10, I had already figured out the twist, so there wasn’t much thrill left after that. I think the concept had potential, but the execution was lacking. The writing felt surface-level at times, and the dialogue didn’t always feel natural. I wish the author took more time to really build the tension and give us more depth with the characters especially since the whole premise revolves around secrets in a marriage. The plot was predictable, and the ending didn’t quite hit. It’s disappointing because the cover and the hype had me thinking this was going to be a top-tier thriller. It wasn’t a total waste, but I expected more.
