Sites I Visited In Barcelona, Spain
Why pain when you can go to Spain? 🇪🇸 These are just a few of the sites I visited during my time in Barcelona that took my breath away! Below I will have them listed for anyone who is curious about what each one pictured is called and where it is located.
1st Site Pictured: Arc de Triomf, which is located at the top of Passeig de Lluís Companys. I didn’t realize it at the time but it actually serves as the entrance to Parc de la Ciutadella!
2nd Site Pictured: Basílica de la Sagrada Família, which is located in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Catalonia. One tip for anyone traveling here and wants to go inside, book that ticket early! I lost my chance to go inside because I went to book it too late. It is a must-see! The outside was insanely gorgeous, I couldn’t imagine what the inside looks like and would feel like when experiencing it. I will be back!
3rd Site Pictured: Cathedral of Barcelona, which is a Catalan Gothic cathedral that you can find in the Gothic Quarter. This area is magical, and was one of the first stops on a photoshoot tour a local gave me (which I will showcase pictures soon). I was not sure if I could go inside as it was gated with guards and I did not want to disturb anything if there was an event happening or a service going on. If anyone knows for when I travel back, drop it in the comments below!
4th Site Pictured: Expiatory Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, located on Tibidabo mountain that overlooks Barcelona. I can’t even lie to you, I cried seeing this! I was around Park Güell before coming here and I took a quick cab up the mountain (which has gorgeous views as you get closer and closer). Once you get to the very top, it literally feels like you are on top of the world. I did go inside on both the bottom and top sections, and it is just absolutely beautiful, both how it is built and how powerful it feels to look at.
5th Site Pictured: This is the overlook of Barcelona from the Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is on Tibidabo mountain, which to my surprise had a small amusement park there too. This view was everything to my trip!
