some of my fave twin cities bookstores! 📚

It's no secret that I go to a lot of bookstores and there are SO MANY good bookstores In and around Minneapolis and St. Paul! here's a list of a few of my favorites:

â€Ē the little charity book truck (mobile) - Not only is this the cutest little truck, but they also donate to charity for every book sold!

â€Ē next chapter books (St. Paul) - I have a ton of great author, events and book clubs and a wide variety of books for anyone

â€Ē Valley Booksellers (Stillwater) - female owned and operated so you know the selection of books is going to be good!

â€Ē Big Hill Books (Minneapolis) - it's such a bright and airy store with a huge selection and TWO bookstore cats! ðŸ˜ŧ

This is only a small list of the bookstores that I frequent, so I'll have to add a part two, but comment below if I missed your favorite Twin Cities bookstore!

Each bookstore has its own unique charm and focus, creating a rich literary culture. For example, the Little Charity Book Truck is a distinctive mobile bookstore known for its charitable mission, donating a portion of every sale to local causes. This makes each purchase a meaningful contribution to the community beyond just acquiring a new book. Their extensive and varied collection ensures readers of all tastes can find something captivating. Valley Booksellers in Stillwater is notable for being female-owned and operated. This aspect often reflects in their thoughtfully curated selection, emphasizing diverse perspectives and championing underrepresented voices in literature. Meanwhile, Big Hill Books in Minneapolis offers a bright, inviting atmosphere enhanced by the presence of two friendly bookstore cats, creating a warm, welcoming environment. Their vast selection caters to readers of every genre and interest, making it a go-to destination. These bookstores are more than places to purchase books; they are cultural landmarks that support author events, foster local literary communities, and provide spaces for readers to discover new stories and ideas.
