Wow, how time flies! It truly feels like just yesterday I was holding a tiny newborn, and now, here we are, celebrating 6 incredible years of growth with my son, Boom Lumbus Jr. Every single day with him is an adventure, a lesson, and a pure joy. I wanted to take a moment to reflect on this amazing journey and share some of the highlights that have shaped our little family. Those first few years were a whirlwind of discovery – first steps, first words, and that infectious giggle that could light up any room. I remember vividly when he first called me 'Papa'; it was a moment etched forever in my heart. Watching him explore the world with such boundless curiosity, whether it was chasing butterflies in the park or building epic fortresses out of couch cushions, filled me with immense pride. He constantly reminds me to find wonder in the smallest things. As he transitioned from a toddler to a little boy, his personality really began to blossom. He started school, made his first friends, and developed his own unique interests. I've loved seeing his passion for drawing and building with blocks grow. We spend hours together, him showing me his latest creations or telling me about his day at school, often with intricate details about his classmates and teachers. These are the precious moments I know I'll look back on with so much fondness. One of the biggest joys has been witnessing his resilience and kindness. There have been little bumps in the road, as there are with any child growing up, but Boom Lumbus Jr. always approaches challenges with such a brave heart. He's also incredibly empathetic, always quick to share his toys or offer a hug when someone is feeling down. It warms my heart to see the wonderful, compassionate young person he's becoming. He truly has a big heart. Parenting certainly comes with its moments of madness, sleepless nights, and endless questions, but the rewards far outweigh any difficulties. Through his eyes, I've learned to appreciate the simple things again – the magic of a puddle, the wonder of a starry night, and the comfort of a bedtime story. He's taught me more about patience, unconditional love, and living in the present moment than I ever thought possible. He makes me a better person every single day. Looking back at these 6 years of growth with my son, I feel incredibly grateful. He’s not just my son; he’s my little best friend, my shadow, and my greatest teacher.
