✨🌸 Post your Content 🤳🏾

I know it can seem very hard to start posting your content. You’re always going to be wishing you started , so why not just start ?

I started posting my content and reaching out to brands for PR boxes and so far this is what I’ve learned .

1️⃣ Reach out to big brands even if you think they won’t respond. Make sure you have a professional email template.

2️⃣ Only take brand deals for companies that’s in your niche . Don’t just reach out to your favorite brands because you want free things. This won’t help you grow

3️⃣ When you receive the chance to make content with big companies , try your best to make as much cont as possible. Even if you’re just recording to get comfortable or try out new editing techniques.

... Read moreIt’s one thing to get your foot in the door with brands and land those coveted PR boxes, but truly nailing 'posting for brands' is where the magic happens and doors to long-term collaborations open up! After receiving my first few boxes, including amazing goodies like the Topicals Clarifying & Calming Mist and Mask, I quickly realized that simply unboxing wasn't enough. Brands aren't just looking for exposure; they're looking for impactful content that resonates with their audience and ours. So, what makes a brand post truly shine? For me, it boils down to authenticity and strategy. First, immerse yourself in the brand's identity. Before even thinking about recording, I spend time understanding their aesthetic, their message, and who their target customer is. When I got that Slick Salve, I didn't just snap a quick pic. I thought about who would use it, *when*, and *why*. How does it fit into my own routine, and how can I showcase that authentically to my followers? This approach ensures your content aligns seamlessly, making it feel less like an ad and more like a genuine recommendation. Next, think beyond just a single post. While 'making as much content as possible' is great for practice, for brands, it's about making varied and valuable content. Consider different formats: Detailed Reviews: Don't just say 'it's good.' Talk about your experience, the texture, the scent, the results. For that Topicals Mist, I shared how it felt on my skin throughout the day and how it helped with redness. Lifestyle Integration: Show the product in action in your daily life. Instead of just a product shot, include it as part of your morning routine, your travel essentials, or even a self-care evening. This makes it aspirational and relatable. Problem/Solution Focus: Highlight a problem your audience might have and how the product solves it. For instance, if the Clarifying & Calming Mask helps with breakouts, share your journey and show the transformation. Creative Visuals: Experiment with flat lays, close-ups, and different lighting. A beautifully styled photo of a product like a Slick Salve can catch eyes immediately. Don't be afraid to try new editing techniques you've been practicing! Always remember to share your honest opinion. Your audience trusts you, and that trust is your biggest asset. If you genuinely love a product, your enthusiasm will be contagious. If there's something you're not thrilled about, find a constructive way to frame it or perhaps decide if it's the right brand partnership for you in the first place. Finally, after you've posted, don't just forget about it. Engage with comments, answer questions about the product, and tag the brand. This shows dedication and helps amplify the campaign's reach. Providing brands with performance insights (likes, comments, saves, shares) on your content can also be a huge plus when nurturing those relationships for future collaborations. It shows you're professional and invested in their success, not just in getting free stuff. By making your content for brands not just plentiful, but also thoughtful, diverse, and authentic, you'll build a reputation that keeps those PR boxes coming and unlocks even bigger opportunities down the line!
