Come With Me To A Lego Convention 🧱

A Lego Convention came to Abq & you know I had to check it out. I saw some of the coolest & largest Lego sets I have ever seen! Some were individually made, they had classic sets from the 80’s & 90’s, not to mention all the vendors selling Lego sets too!

Enjoy some of the sets I saw & keep swiping to see the one’s I purchased ✨🤍

The event showcased an incredible variety of sets, including some rare and vintage pieces that brought back nostalgic memories from the 1980s and 1990s. One of the standout moments was seeing the individually made sets — these custom builds were impressive both in size and detail, proving how creative and passionate the LEGO community can be. What caught my eye the most was the 'LEGO Icons 18+ 10331 Kingfisher' set, which features 834 pieces and caters to the adult fan base. This aligns with the trend I’ve noticed where LEGO is expanding beyond kids to attract older collectors who appreciate complex and sophisticated designs. Aside from the displays, the vendor area was a treasure trove of opportunities to add to my LEGO collection. I found rare sets and unique pieces that aren’t easy to find in regular stores. The atmosphere was lively and full of conversations among attendees who shared tips, stories, and their love for all things LEGO. If you’re passionate about LEGO or even just curious, attending a LEGO convention like BrickFest at Expo New Mexico is highly recommended. It's a great way to immerse yourself in the culture, learn more about rare sets, and find exclusive pieces for your collection. Plus, feeling the energy of thousands of fans coming together is something special. I highly suggest keeping an eye out for local LEGO events, as they offer a fantastic blend of nostalgia, creativity, and community spirit.
