I've found it truly shines when my hair is wet and saturated with conditioner. The flexible bristles glide through knots with surprising ease, minimizing tugging and pulling. Compared to other brushes I've used, I noticed significantly less hair shedding in the shower drain, which is a huge win for maintaining hair health. This is where the 'reduce breakage' claim really holds up. It also makes the detangling process much quicker, cutting down on my wash day routine time. But the Curl Shaper isn't just for detangling. The defining and sculpting aspect is what truly sets it apart. After applying my leave-in conditioner and curl cream, I section my hair and use the brush to create defined curl clumps.
