Hardee’s sausage gravy 🄰

One of my favorite memories of my grandmother is always getting Hardee’s breakfast with her every weekend. I normally make what we call ā€œwhite gravyā€. But I wanted to try my hand at trying to make my version of Hardee’s sausage gravy. It was a hit!! Tasted just like Hardee’s.

1 lb sausage of your choice.

1/2 cup flour

4cups milk

Salt and pepper to taste.

Brown the sausage, DO NOT DRAIN!

add the flour and stir until the sausage is coated.

Ad half the milk and stir until it gets thick.

Add the remaining by milk and stir constantly until it reaches the thickness you prefer.

I always add pepper to my gravy but to each their own :)
