Christmas Cookie boxes💚❤️
This year for Christmas I actually made cookie boxes. Almost exactly a year ago I started working for the postal service. It quickly became the best job and I’m still beyond grateful for it. Still keeping my fingers crossed for a full time position to open up. But in time that will happen.💛 In the mean time I have been welcomed with such kindness. My coworkers have helped me to learn and fix any mistakes I have made. I really could not ask for better coworkers. As a thank you I made one big cookie box for my coworkers at our lead office, and smaller individual boxes for each of my three carriers in my small office. As it turned out I gave them to them today and it was a crazy busy day with a lot of chaos. So it was definitely a good pick me up for everyone.
What I included in my boxes was:
•Sugar cookies (sugar sprinkled and not)
•Chocolate chip cookies
•Tie dye Christmas cookies
•Thumb print Hershey kiss cookies
•Sugar cookie fudge
•Chocolate fudge
•Oreo Balls
All my dough I premade in advance 2-3days ahead of time. I then scooped the dough out into balls, and froze them on a tray. When the balls were frozen I put them into a gallon freezer bag and double bagged to prevent freezer burn. I then froze my dough and removed them from the freezer to bake all one day. I added about 2-4 minutes cook time to accommodate the frozen dough.
All in all great success and will be doing more in the future. I’ll also be sharing more of these cookie recipes as I get them typed out.💛

Sharing homemade Christmas cookie boxes is a wonderful way to spread holiday cheer and appreciation to those around you. Preparing varieties such as sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, tie dye Christmas cookies, thumbprint Hershey kiss cookies, sugar cookie fudge, chocolate fudge, and Oreo Balls allows for a delightful mix that can appeal to many tastes. One smart strategy is to make your cookie dough 2-3 days in advance and freeze it in pre-formed scoops. This not only saves time on baking day but also helps ensure consistency in cookie size and baking. When baking from frozen dough, increase the baking time by 2-4 minutes to accommodate the chilled dough, ensuring that cookies are thoroughly cooked. Packaging these cookies into attractive boxes can boost the festive feeling and make the gift feel even more special. Personalizing boxes for coworkers or friends with a mix of larger communal boxes and smaller individual boxes adds a thoughtful touch. These cookie boxes can serve as an uplifting treat during busy, chaotic days, as they bring sweet comfort and a reminder of kindness and gratitude. This gift idea also reflects the spirit of the season of giving, allowing you to share not only delicious homemade sweets but also your time and care. Plus, organizing the baking process to create cookie dough balls in advance helps manage the holiday bustle more effectively. By combining careful preparation with a heartfelt intention, Christmas cookie boxes become more than just a treat—they become a meaningful token of appreciation and festive joy.
