Many people, like myself, feel frustrated when political leaders overpromise and underdeliver without transparent communication about fiscal realities. Additionally, the mayor’s claim that school enrollment reduction could free up resources was met with skepticism, as budget allocations are complex and often slow to adapt. It reflects a broader challenge: balancing ambitious social programs with sustainable economic management. For residents dealing with steep living costs, these broken promises can feel like being "played like a fiddle," as trust erodes.
