What a long strange trip its been 🤩
Love watching my kids relive experiences for the first time. Im enjoying this chapter of life and reminiscing life before. 🥹
Watching my children experience moments reminiscent of my own childhood is truly a unique and precious feeling. I often find myself thinking about the passage of time—from being 2 years old in 1996, to 12 in 2006, 22 in 2016, and now imagining what life will be like at 32 in 2026. Each phase offers new lessons and a deeper appreciation for the journey. As a parent, it’s fascinating to see how much the world has changed from the 90s to now, and how those changes shape my kids’ experiences. While I grew up with VHS tapes and dial-up internet, today’s children navigate a digital landscape filled with endless possibilities. This contrast brings a special nostalgia, making me cherish my own childhood memories even more. Embracing this chapter of life has also made me recognize the value of reminiscing—looking back on the ups and downs, the growth, and the unexpected twists. It’s not just about nostalgia; it’s about understanding how the past shapes our present and guides us forward. Sharing these moments with my kids helps me see the beauty in every stage of life. The glow-up isn’t just about physical appearance or age; it’s about emotional growth, resilience, and the deep bonds we build with our loved ones. I encourage other parents and individuals to take a moment to reflect on their own unique journeys and celebrate every step with gratitude and joy.
