I really like Nair’s Body Cream for easy, quick hair removal. If you’re an on the go girly like me I would recommend getting some Nair Body Cream for a quick transition from scary hairy to smooth as a babies bottom.(😇) One thing I will say is don’t use the Body Cream if you use Glycolic Acid under your arms.
Use of Glycolic Acid: hyperpigmentation, discoloration, helps to smooth and lighten the skin.
If you experience burning🔥: I recommend hydrocortisone.Apply a small amount to the area that is burning or sensitive (hydrocortisone is used for inflammation).
Other products you can use after Nair’s Body Cream: is coconut oil, Neosporin, Vaselin. 😮💨
You’re going to apply a small amount of the (products) listed above ⬆️ to the burning or sensitive area and let it sit for a little then apply any products you would normally use.
... Read moreOkay, so if you're like me and constantly on the hunt for quick, effective hair removal, you've probably heard of Nair. But let me tell you, the Nair BODY CREAM HAIR REMOVER RICH COCOA BUTTER & VITAMIN E has been a game-changer for me. It's truly a NEW SCENT-SATIONAL EXPERIENCE compared to older formulas, and I've found it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth, promising SMOOTH SKIN FOR DAYS.
After getting so many questions about how I get such great results and avoid any of the common pitfalls, I decided to share my personal step-by-step guide and some essential tips. Because let's be real, while it's fantastic for quick transitions from 'scary hairy to smooth as a baby's bottom' (like I always say!), knowing how to use it right makes all the difference.
First things first: Always Patch Test! I cannot stress this enough. Even though it's DERMATOLOGIST TESTED, everyone's skin is different. Apply a tiny amount to a small area you want to treat, wait the recommended time (usually 5-10 minutes, but check your specific product's instructions!), and rinse. If there's no irritation after 24 hours, you're good to go.
My Application Routine for Best Results:
Clean, Dry Skin: Make sure the area you're treating is clean and completely dry. No lotions, oils, or even sweat. This helps the cream work its magic directly on the hair.
Apply a Thick, Even Layer: Don't rub it in! Just spread a generous, even layer over the hair you want to remove. You want a consistent coating so all hairs are equally exposed to the cream. I usually aim for about a quarter-inch thickness, enough to completely cover the hair.
Timing is Everything: Set a timer! Most Nair creams suggest 3-5 minutes, but never exceed 10 minutes (again, always check your product's label – mine, the NET WT. 7.9 OZ. (224g) container, says something similar). I usually start checking around the 4-minute mark. If hair comes off easily, it's ready. If not, give it another minute, but don't push it too long.
Gentle Removal & Rinse: Use a damp washcloth or the spatula that sometimes comes with the product to gently wipe away a small test area. If the hair comes off easily, remove the rest. Then, rinse the area thoroughly with lukewarm water. Pat dry with a soft towel.
Now, for those crucial safety tips! As I mentioned before, if you use Glycolic Acid under your arms, do NOT use Nair cream there. Glycolic Acid helps with hyperpigmentation, discoloration, and smoothing the skin, which is great, but it also makes your skin more sensitive and compromises your skin barrier. Applying a depilatory cream right after or while using Glycolic Acid can lead to serious burning and irritation. This goes for any strong exfoliants or retinoids on the skin you plan to treat.
What if you experience burning or sensitivity? It can happen! My go-to is hydrocortisone cream. I apply a small amount to the affected area. Hydrocortisone is fantastic for reducing inflammation and calming down irritated skin. You can also use other soothing products like aloe vera gel.
Post-Nair Aftercare for Hydrated, Happy Skin:
Immediately after rinsing, your skin needs some TLC. This is where products like coconut oil, Neosporin, or Vaseline come into play. These are my top picks because they create a protective barrier, lock in moisture, and aid in skin recovery. Coconut oil is wonderfully moisturizing and naturally soothing. Neosporin can help if there's any minor irritation or tiny nicks, preventing infection. Vaseline is a classic for creating a robust barrier to help your skin heal and stay hydrated. Apply a small amount to the sensitive area, let it sit and absorb, then follow up with your usual body lotion.
With consistent use and proper application, I've noticed that this Nair cream not only gives me SMOOTH SKIN FOR DAYS but also seems to contribute to REDUCES HAIR REGROWTH over time, making future hair removal even easier. It truly is a fantastic addition to my body care routine, especially with the nourishing benefits of RICH COCOA BUTTER & VITAMIN E.
