I’m going to be an aunt again!!!!

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The news that my older sister is pregnant again has filled my heart with such overwhelming joy, it feels like a rainbow has appeared in a vibrant blue sky after a long day. It was definitely an unexpected surprise, especially with her having a 16-year-old and a 12-year-old already, but it's the most welcome news imaginable! Becoming an aunt again is a feeling unlike any other. I already have two beautiful nieces and three wonderful nephews, and each one has brought so much love and laughter into my life. Knowing there's another little bundle of joy on the way just adds to that incredible blessing. I've been an 'auntie' for a while now, and with each new addition, my heart just expands. There's something truly magical about watching these little personalities grow, and being the fun, indulgent aunt is one of my most cherished roles. I have a strong hunch this new baby is going to be a boy! I'm already picturing all the fun we'll have – from tiny baby clothes to future playtime in bright green fields, maybe even exploring distant trees and making up stories. Having a new baby around again, especially with the older kids, will be such an interesting dynamic. I’m sure my nieces and nephews will be fantastic older cousins, ready to shower the new baby with love and attention. It’s going to be so much fun seeing their reactions and watching them bond. For me, being an aunt means being a constant source of support, fun, and unconditional love. It's about spoiling them just a little bit, being a good listener, and always having an open door. I'm already thinking about all the ways I can support my sister through her pregnancy and beyond, making sure she feels loved and cared for. This journey of becoming an aunt again, or 'masi banne ki khushi' as some would say, is such a profound and beautiful experience. Every kick, every ultrasound, every little milestone is something to celebrate. This new baby truly feels like a blessing, reminding us that sometimes the most wonderful things come as a surprise. I'm incredibly excited to meet this little one and embark on another amazing auntie adventure. My cup is overflowing with gratitude and anticipation!
