Glow up skincare 💗
Hello all :) here I’m reviewing my skin care routine for mornings! This specific routine leaves me feeling glowy and refreshed!
Micellar water: I normally use a wash off cleanser but today I didn’t have the energy - micellar water and a cotton pad are easier when I don’t have the “umph”, and it feels great. It is a bit sticky feeling for a while.
Toner: Thayers witch hazel toner is my favorite. It doesn’t stink, doesn’t burn, and leaves me feeling refreshed and, well, toned.
Eye mask: I bought this on TikTok shop. I’m not super impressed with it, but I haven’t tried many brands to compare them. They aren’t cut evenly so some are heavier than others. I like the moisturizing effect under the eyes though.
Serum: Prose custom serum! I absolutely adore Prose. If I had the money, I would be using that all the time. In my opinion prose trumps all other brands. The serum helps soothe my skin and make it glow. It’s very refreshing and in my opinion is a necessity for glowy skin.
Moisturizer: CeraVe morning moisturizer with SPF! I love this because it takes one step out of the routine (applying sunscreen). It doesn’t feel as creamy as I would want, but it does the job. I just use a bit extra, it feels like my skin just soaks it up.
Lip balm: banana boat SPF lip balm! It’s 45 spf which is great. It helped keep my lips moisturized and protected when we went on vacation to Mexico. I highly highly recommend it! It doesn’t smell bad, actually kind of good, and has aloe in it. When my mother in law got a bad sunburn on her lips, it helped them to feel relieved and cool.
What changed: I know the before and after pics look about the same, but trust me, I felt so much better after. I have oily skin so when I wake up, I am very shiny, but it’s not the right kind of shiny 😂. I wake up sticky and dirty and I after my routine I feel light, crystal clean, and glowy - the RIGHT kind of glowy!

I love the witch hazel with rose water! It also helps with sunburns
