Cherish it, time goes too fast.

Have you ever heard the phrase, “time is a thief”?

How about reframing it as, “time is a gift”.

It’s true that time goes way too fast, and we are often missing the short phases our children hurdle through. Milestones replace milestones, exciting new abilities turn into frequent daily routines.

But the truth is, each memory is a gift. It’s a gift to miss the past while still having the future to look forward to. Not everyone has this blessing.

Today I noticed that the trees were starting to change color. I thought, “not yet, I’m not ready“. But then I realized, I am ready. I just have to learn how to cherish the past while allowing myself to move onto the future.

Here’s to all us moms who are doing our best to live in the moment and appreciate every moment.

Awww, sweet child! Yes, and Time Flies! One moment they can’t get enough hugs and the next they think they are too big for hugs!
