Tips for trick or treating with kiddos 💗

Hey guys :) just thought I’d share this post even though I’m a bit late this year 😅 my girl is going to be two years old in January, so this is the first year she participated in trick or treat. The biggest thing I learned was that it should be fun, not stressful. Do what you need to in order to make it fun: a wagon for comfort and safety (keeping track of kids and candy), not stressing over a perfect costume, etc. you should be having fun too!

My little family did a Star Wars theme this year! My husband was obi wan kenobi, I was Ahsoka, and my toddler was baby yoda 💗

... Read moreTrick-or-treating is an exciting adventure for children, especially for those participating for the first time. Keeping children safe during Halloween involves being aware of their surroundings and overseeing their actions closely. It's crucial to choose a dedicated person to keep track of the kids, ensuring that they don’t run too far or into unsafe areas. A wagon can significantly enhance your trick-or-treating experience. It provides a comfortable spot for tired little feet and a safe place to store collected candies. Kids often get overwhelmed with the excitement, and having a wagon can help manage their energy levels. Encouragement is key to helping shy kids engage in the fun; walking them to the doorstep and prompting them to say "trick or treat" can boost their confidence. Remember, the primary objective is to have fun! If things start to get stressful, it’s okay to take a step back or even cut the duration short. Prioritizing enjoyment over perfection will create the most memorable experiences for both you and your children. Enjoy Halloween safely and joyfully!

Awww I love the family costumes and ideas. I took the kids out last night and I think it’s cute to see family with their little ones out in wagons, golf carts, bikes, and of course walking. Hope y’all had a good time!!

back in the 80s when I was a kid, my mom and dad were always working, not all the time, so sometimes I would go out with my uncles our aunts or friends parents, but we didn't get in trouble because we would our buts wooped with a belt, our a good slap in the head, but that wasn't that bad compared to what my granpa do
