The purest of joy 🤍🦋

Being a stay at home mom was never the plan. I earned my bachelors degree and was accepted into physical therapy school, my dream program actually. All was going fantastic, until I became unexpectedly pregnant. I felt my whole world shift upside down. At least, that’s what it felt like. All of my life plans changed and my certainty of the future was instantly shattered. My daughter is almost 2 now and I can whole heartedly say that she is the best thing to ever happen to me. She is my pride and joy, my life and light. She is the purest gift from God, and a testament that even when plans change, that doesn’t mean your life is over. It’s just beginning a new chapter.

... Read moreMother Teresa once said, "If you want to bring happiness to the whole world, go home and love your family." This profound statement resonates deeply with many stay-at-home moms who find themselves navigating through the unexpected. For those who, like Brandi, had clear life plans only to find themselves adjusting to motherhood, it can feel overwhelming at first. However, the transition can reveal unexpected blessings and joys. For many moms, the journey may include overcoming doubts about their new roles while finding fulfillment in the small, everyday moments with their children. Connecting with other moms through platforms like Lemon8 can also provide invaluable support and insights. Sharing experiences, such as those related to #momlife or #sahm (Stay At Home Mom), creates a sense of community, helping each other realize they are not alone in their challenges. As Brandi reflects on her experience, she emphasizes the beauty found in this newfound chapter. Each moment spent nurturing her child becomes a source of pride and joy, reaffirming that sometimes the most beautiful paths in life are those we never planned. Embracing these changes can lead not only to personal growth but also to a deeper bond with one’s family. Ultimately, motherhood, with all its unpredictability, can turn out to be the most fulfilling role of all.

that's cool to be a stay at home mom, you can do something else when you feel like it, but I'm glad women have the options nowadays, not like 80 years ago, but you can totally have the freedoms to work our stay at home, thanx to Betty Friedan from the 1950s and 60s, and hopefully thanx to your husband
