First time trying Crumbl 🍪

Okay, so I finally made it to Crumbl Cookies in Citrus Heights, and wow, what an experience! As a huge dessert lover, I'd been seeing these giant cookies all over my feed, and I just had to try them for myself. The store itself was super clean and modern, and the staff were really friendly, making the whole visit even better. For my first haul, I went a little crazy and picked up six different flavors. This week's lineup was incredible! First up, the Tres Leches Cake cookie. This one absolutely blew me away! It was incredibly moist, almost like a mini cake, with that signature milk soak flavor. The cream cheese frosting on top was a dream – definitely a must-try if you love Tres Leches. The base was soft and soaked, a truly unique cookie experience. Next, the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. This cookie was rich and decadent, exactly what you'd expect from the combo. The peanut butter mousse was so fluffy, and the chocolate base was perfectly chewy. If you're a fan of Reese's, this is your cookie. It was surprisingly light for such a rich flavor. Then there was the Key Lime Pie Cookie. Oh my goodness, this one was so refreshing! It had that perfect balance of tart and sweet, with a lovely graham cracker crust flavor in the base. It genuinely tasted like a mini key lime pie in cookie form, and the texture was divine. I loved the zesty kick! The Wafer ft. Kit Kat was a fun one! It had little pieces of Kit Kat mixed in, giving it a nice crunch and familiar chocolatey goodness. It was a solid, comforting choice. And the Molten Lava? Pure chocolate bliss. It was warm and gooey, with a rich chocolate center that just melted in my mouth. For all the chocoholics out there, this is a winner – almost like a brownie in cookie form. Finally, the Iced Oatmeal. This one brought back so many nostalgic feelings! It was soft, spiced just right, and the sweet glaze on top was the perfect finishing touch. It's a classic for a reason and a great palate cleanser after all the richer flavors. Each cookie is quite substantial, so be prepared to share or save some for later! Overall, my first Crumbl experience was a huge success. Each cookie was so unique, and honestly, they're big enough to share (or save for later!). I'd highly recommend checking out the Citrus Heights location if you're looking for a top-notch dessert shop. A little tip for first-timers: check their weekly flavors online before you go, and don't be afraid to try something new! Also, these cookies are best enjoyed slightly warm, but they hold up well for a few days if you store them properly. Just be prepared for a sugar rush and maybe a few delicious crumbs along the way.
