Our Mini Moon 💕

Kyle finally started calling it that on day two 🤭 we spent a four day weekend in Savannah, Ga. It was absolutely beautiful! We even went over to Tybee Island to walk on the beach and explore Fort Pulaski (post to follow). We ate lots of food, explored all the historical sites, and had such a great time enjoying our little newly wed bubble. Our plan is to take an actual honeymoon to Italy once we can get everything planned. ☺️ #savannahga #historiccity #honeymoon #minimoon #newlywed

Our trip to Savannah gave us a chance to relax and savor each other's company in a charming historic city rich with culture. Exploring Tybee Island was a highlight—the beach offered a peaceful retreat and the chance to enjoy gentle ocean waves without overwhelming crowds. Visiting Fort Pulaski added a fascinating glimpse into local history, reminding us how much there is to discover beyond just the well-known tourist spots. One practical tip I learned is to balance exploring with downtime. We made sure to pause at local diners and cafes like the cozy spots serving MBE Coffee and fresh juices. Sampling local flavors helped deepen our connection to the place and created fun, memorable moments. For couples considering a mini moon, I recommend choosing a location that feels intimate and offers a mix of activities and relaxation. Savannah’s blend of historic charm and natural beauty made it an ideal backdrop for our new life together. Plus, having that special hashtag #minimoon helped us capture and share our journey easily. Looking forward, our plan to ultimately honeymoon in Italy excites us even more now that we’ve had this mini escape. The mini moon provided the perfect first taste of traveling as newlyweds, setting the tone for future adventures full of love and discovery.
