We are called to be Fishers of Men

We often think about the need to nourish our bodies with food. We regularly forget we also need to be nourishing our soul by being in the word. Just as Jesus called Simon who was called Peter and his brother Andrew as well as brothers James and John to cast down their literal fish nets and follow him…He calls each and every one of us to do the same. We need to daily put down our own desires and be in the word of God so we can become more like him each day. The more we become like Christ the easier it is to spread God’s love and word with the world.
