I’m new here, let’s be friends!

Hello, beautiful souls of Lemon8! I’m absolutely thrilled to officially dive into this amazing community, and I can’t wait to connect with all of you. You might have seen my initial post, but I wanted to share a little more about who I am and what you can expect from my page. Consider this your extended invitation to join my journey and, of course, let's be friends and follow each other back! As I mentioned, I’m Brenda, and at 18, I feel like I’m standing at the exciting beginning of so many adventures. By day, I’m gaining invaluable experience as a medical assistant at an OBGYN clinic. It’s challenging but so rewarding, and it’s a stepping stone towards my ultimate goal: becoming an aesthetician nurse. I’m passionate about skincare and helping people feel confident and beautiful, so you can definitely expect me to share my learning experiences, tips I pick up along the way, and maybe even some behind-the-scenes glimpses into my medical world (yes, that includes me in my blue medical scrubs, possibly taking a mirror selfie or two!). But life isn't all work, right? When I clock out, my creative side comes alive! I adore making silly TikToks – it’s my way of unwinding and just having fun. I’m also a big fan of anything domestic; cooking and baking are two of my favorite ways to express myself and (of course) eat delicious things! I’ll be sharing my favorite recipes, kitchen hacks, and maybe even some baking fails (we all have them!). Crochet is another passion; there’s something so therapeutic about creating something beautiful with yarn. And for fun, I love doing nails – it’s a small way to add a little sparkle to everyday life. I’m always looking for new designs and techniques, so if you have any suggestions, send them my way! I’m really looking to build a genuine community here. The idea of connecting with like-minded individuals, sharing experiences, and lifting each other up truly excites me. Whether you're interested in my career path, my creative hobbies, or just want to chat about everyday life, I’m here for it. You might even catch glimpses of my personal life, like photos from fun outings – perhaps even a cute moment with my boyfriend Mike, maybe receiving a vibrant bouquet of flowers or a chocolate-covered treat from him! I’m also an explorer at heart, and I love discovering new places, like Schnepf Farms with its charming vintage truck that caught my eye. I'll be sharing more of these personal snippets, too.
