Let’s be friends!!

Hi everyone, it's Bre here! You might have seen my initial 'let's be friends' post, but I really wanted to dive a little deeper and truly introduce myself. So many of you reached out, and I'm thrilled to share more about who I am and what makes me tick. I’m hoping this helps you get to know me better, and maybe we’ll find some common ground! First off, my life revolves a lot around the stage. I'm currently a Musical Theatre major with a Dance minor, and honestly, there's nothing quite like the magic of performing. From the intense rehearsals to the thrill of opening night, telling stories through song and movement is my absolute passion. Whether it's jazz, ballet, or a dramatic contemporary piece, dancing allows me to express emotions words sometimes can't capture. If you're into theatre or dance, I'd love to hear your favorite shows or styles! Beyond the bright lights, I find immense joy in the simple beauty of nature. My love for flowers is pretty evident – there’s something incredibly calming about their delicate petals and vibrant colors. I also adore being outside, whether it's exploring a new trail, sitting by the ocean, or just enjoying a sunny day. This ties into my passion for traveling; I love discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and just soaking in the beauty our world has to offer. My favorite color, yellow, perfectly encapsulates this feeling of warmth, happiness, and optimism for me. Now for some of my more unique interests! You might be surprised to learn I have a huge soft spot for dinosaurs. Ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated by these incredible creatures and their ancient history. It's a fun, quirky interest that always sparks conversation! And speaking of unique, my favorite animal is the sea turtle. Their grace, resilience, and serene movement in the water are just captivating to me. Another significant part of my life is my faith. My belief in Jesus guides me, offers strength, and brings a lot of peace and purpose to my everyday. It's a core part of who I am and how I navigate the world. I also love documenting life through journaling and taking photos. Journaling helps me process my thoughts and experiences, while photography allows me to capture moments, big or small, and hold onto memories. You’ll often find me with my camera trying to snap that perfect sunset or a candid moment. So that's a bit more about me, Bre Summers! I'm genuinely excited to connect with all of you here on Lemon8.
