Ibanny
Hey everyone! I'm so excited to share my new fan art piece featuring Ivan from Alien Stage, affectionately known by fans as "Ibanny." You know that feeling when a character just speaks to you? For me, it's Ivan, and I wanted to portray his softer, more vulnerable side in this cute, chibi-style fan art. My inspiration for this piece really came from Ivan's often melancholic expressions and his overall vibe in Alien Stage. I imagined him as this sad bunny-like character because it perfectly expresses that delicate balance of strength and hidden sorrow he carries. I focused on making his large eyes really convey that wistful look, and his dark blue hair always gives him such a distinctive appearance. I even added a subtle carrot shape in the background, a little nod to his bunny persona that I hope fans will spot! When I was sketching, I meticulously worked on his floppy ears and paw-like feet to enhance that adorable, vulnerable quality. And that big red bow tie? It's such an iconic part of his design, adding a touch of peculiar charm even when he's feeling down. I really wanted to create something that would make fellow fans feel that urge to just 'hold me Ibanny,' because sometimes, these characters just need a big hug, don't they? For those who might be newer to Alien Stage, it's a fantastic series, and Ivan is one of those characters who truly makes an impact. While this isn't official art, I think fan interpretations like mine allow us to connect with characters on a deeper, more personal level, exploring their personalities and emotions in new ways. It's really about celebrating the stories and characters we love, like Ivan (or Ibanny!). I'd love to hear your thoughts! What are your favorite things about Ivan? Or do you have any other Alien Stage characters you'd love to see in a chibi style? Let me know in the comments below!
