🍢NEW $9.90NETT YAKITORI RAMEN

📍Takagi Ramen

Big fan of skewers so this is one of the tastier limited menu items I've had at Takagi Ramen! The charcoal variety is coated in a sweet sauce while the fiery one reminds me of the CP buffalo wings, not spicy at all despite the name but still provides that palatable sweetness. The ramen broth is not too salty and errs towards the sweet side too!

Pretty affordable at $9.90 each. If you only want the skewers, theyre $3.90 for 2 pieces! Wasn't the biggest fan of the drinks cuz they were too sweet for me, but my friend who likes ice cream soda enjoyed them👍

... Read moreHaving visited Takagi Ramen and tried their unique Yakitori Ramen myself, I can share some personal tips to enhance your dining experience. The skewers come in two delightful flavors: the charcoal which is glazed with a pleasant sweet sauce, and the fiery option that, contrary to its name, is not spicy but instead reminiscent of buffalo wings with a sweet and tangy profile. This makes both options very approachable and enjoyable for those who prefer mild flavors. The broth itself is a perfect complement—lightly salty with a distinct sweetness that balances the richness of the meat. This sweet-salty harmony is something not common in all ramen, making it a refreshing change. If you’re keen on light but flavorful ramen, this is a great pick. In addition, I found ordering just the skewers separately at $3.90 for two pieces a handy choice if you want a quick snack or to pair them with other sides. They’re juicy and well-grilled, which makes them a crowd-pleaser. Regarding the drinks like the strawberry and lemon ice cream sodas, they lean quite sweet, which might not suit everyone’s palate. However, these sodas offer a nostalgic, creamy soda float vibe that fans of ice cream sodas will appreciate. Overall, Takagi Ramen’s Yakitori Ramen offers great value for $9.90 with multiple outlets available to enjoy this tasty, limited edition dish. It’s ideal for those looking to explore Japanese skewers combined with ramen without breaking the bank. I’d recommend going with friends so you can share and sample different skewers and drinks! This little gem really highlights the creative ways ramen shops are innovating traditional Japanese flavors.
