Having hiked Kaaterskill Falls myself, I can personally attest to the unique experience this trail offers. The hike from the Laurel House Road parking area is moderate but rewarding, with well-marked paths that allow you to appreciate the lush forest surroundings before reaching the spectacular two-tiered waterfall. One of the highlights is the observation deck, which provides panoramic views of both the upper and lower falls, making it an ideal spot for photographs and pausing to take in the scenery. For those seeking a bit more adventure, descending to the base of the falls presents a steeper and more challenging terrain.
