🌿 Forgiven Friday 🌿

1 John 1:9 ~

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (NIV)

So often, we carry yesterday’s mistakes into today like heavy bags we were never meant to hold. We replay words we wish we could take back. We rehearse moments we wish we could redo. But forgiveness was never meant to be earned… it was given freely at the cross!

On this Forgiven Friday, be reminded that God does not keep a tally of your failures. When He forgives, He forgives fully!Completely! Without hesitation! Without conditions! What He has washed clean, He does not revisit!!

You are not defined by what you did… you are defined by what Jesus did for you!!

As you pause today, imagine yourself sitting at the table with Jesus… No shame…. No condemnation…. Just grace!! He already knows your story, and He still invites you close!!

Let today be the day you lay it down… Release the guilt… Release the regret… Receive the forgiveness that has been waiting for you all along!!

Lord, thank You for Your mercy that meets me right where I am. Help me to receive Your forgiveness fully and extend that same grace to myself and others. Teach me to walk in freedom… not shame! Amen!!
